Few will dispute that sports make you strong, healthy and teach us to accept defeat and celebrate victory. These lessons later become building blocks of success in life. Indeed, the Annual Sports Meet plays a significant role in raising school’s sporting profile Sports events such as this are meant to showcase the collective talent of the youth rather than only recognizing winners.
Sports competitions fill the kids with enthusiasm which is a vital change in the cycle of routines. It inspires the participants and spectators both. They build physical stamina and teach us to take victories and defeats in our stride. Very important lessons of life are woven into these fights. A loser provides a winner a scale to measure his or her success. Sports Day means kids full of energy, sportsmanship, having outdoor play, exercising, doing aerobics, yoga, dance with concentration and power. Little Millennium stars are empowered with factual approach of all of these and they can perform and prove the true caliber of their own.
The event Annual Sports meet held on 26 Feb-2017, 10:00 am at G.D. Goenka Public School, Shakti Khand III, Indirapuram located in Ghaziabad started with the releasing of balloon by our esteemed Directors Mr. AnupGoel and Mrs.SanjulGoel and our respected Chief guest Mr. RiteshHanda(Marketing manager – Educomp)---- who declared the sports meet open. The School Team believes sports is an integral part in child’s development and it help not only in physical development but also help in building team spirit among the young kids. Keeping up the custom, this year, our school had sorted out.
All kids dressed in yellow and blue showcased theirconfidence in different races like GET READY FOR SCHOOL, SAVE EARTH SAVE WATER, GET READY FOR PARTY,RELAY RACE ETC. These Races were not only colorful but also challenging for the little Millenniumkids. Little Millennium preschool kids exhibited their ability with a lot of zeal and confidence. Well-coordinated march past accompanied by the school band was the show stopper of the event. The day ended with our guest, Mr. RiteshHanda congratulating the winners with medals. All the children were appreciated and felt a sense of pride and achievement.
